I just finished uploading the most recent “final” copy of The Lives of Dogs: An Average Soldier’s Tale to Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing. You know what they say, the 13th time is the charm. I’m hoping this last round got rid of the remaining formatting errors. I’m well aware of the extra spaces and indents and have done everything I can to make this work more reader-friendly. Keep in mind these changes tend to take about 48 hours to populate so keep your pitchforks in the tool shed for a little bit.
Once this latest upload goes live, I’m going to resume my aggressive marketing campaign. Here’s the thing: I know TLOD will never make me a ton of money. Literary fiction doesn’t sell well, I understand that, but the least this work can do is #1: get my abnormally long name out there and #2: show people that I can competently self-publish a book. The Lives of Dogs is a starting point.
TLOD is the story I’ve wanted to tell for years. It wasn’t until recently that I could collect my thoughts, memories, and feelings together in a cohesive manner and put letters on paper. If you have not yet read my work, here’s a link https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asin=B01MD11EYB&preview=newtab&linkCode=kpe&ref_=cm_sw_r_kb_dp_Hlu0ybMKY9S8T
It’s only $2.99 and super quick to read. One of the things I focused on while writing it was concise plot progression. I don’t feel I’ve wasted many words and I hope you’ll feel the same way. As always, thank you for your continued support. I appreciate the opportunity to continue entertaining you with my words.
